LINDA VISTA
This mid-century home tucked into a slope, under fabulous sycamores and established oaks, hugged by a stream. There was just mulch and rocks when we began… We terraced the slope using urbanite and planted California natives plant adding Japanese maples and other specimans to reference the gardens of Japan that inspired the client. A California native grass meadow will grow long and wild on the slope and stay manicured on the lower level. There's a "fern gully," and a fire pit for gatherings by the creek. All the rocks and boulders we sourced from the site.
